About the bands:

Kaiit
Born in Papua New Guinea, Kaiit bounced back and forth between Australia and her homeland as a child before her family eventually settled down in Melbourne. Kaiit grew up listening to alternative music, with her parents embracing the likes of Pink Floyd. Over the years she developed a love for jazz and neo-soul, which is evident in her music. At only 19 years old, Kaiit has shaken up the world of future-soul and RnB. She’s been named as one the best rappers under 25 by Red Bull Music and her first two releases ‘Natural Woman’ and ‘2000 n Somethin’ have together clocked over 1.2 million streams on Spotify.

Sleepmakeswaves
Sleepmakeswaves are an instrumental rock band from Sydney, Australia. The band came together in late 2006 with a desire to write textured, dynamic and emotive songs combining delicate beauty with dramatic climaxes. Over the past six years they have had 12 Australian tours, 4 European tours and 2 tours of North America, Asia and New Zealand. They have also received an unprecedented two nominations for an ARIA Award in addition to other awards.

Three Seas

Three Seas is an international collaboration that fuses modern Australian jazz with West Bengali folk music. Resulting in a soulful repertoire with a diverse array of voices and unusual instruments. The group is led by Australian composer and saxophonist Matt Keegan and fronted by master Indian folk singer Raju Das Baul.

West Thebarton

West Thebarton is a seven-member soul-rock hydra band from South Australia. Led by charismatic front man Reverend Ray, West Thebarton launched their debut album in May 2018. They were nominated for 6 South Australian Music Awards in 2017, including Best Release and Best Song.
